Job summary

LIFT Academy in Indianapolis offers an internship focusing on audits of training records, data requirements, and student engagement. You will support workshops, review department communications, and assist with planning academic development activities.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a BA/BS in business or HR with a 3.0 GPA, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to work independently or in teams. Eligibility to work in the United States is required; schedule ranges from 20 to 40 hours weekly

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) in Business Administration, HR, or related field.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a business group.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Proficient communication skills.
• Flexible and willing to help other team members as projects arise.
• Ability to work onsite at LIFT Academy – Indianapolis, IN.
• Ability to work up to 40 hours per week, with a minimum of 20 hours for spring and fall interns.
• Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret scientific, technical, financial, and legal documents.
• Ability to respond to inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or business community members.
• Ability to present information effectively to top management, public groups, and boards of directors.
• Ability to interpret technical or diagram instructions and manage abstract and concrete variables.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Maintain confidentiality.
• Make day-to-day decisions supporting strategic direction, often without established precedents.
• Work independently or as part of a team to drive results.

Responsibilities

• Conduct audits over training records and data requirements.
• Ensure students are training in a timely and efficient manner.
• Review and filter department inbox to ensure quick and accurate responses.
• Conduct projects related to specific operational tasks on hand.
• Work with student and employee engagement.
• Assist with planning and facilitating workshops for academic development.
• Communicate announcements through the department.
• Adapt to a flexible office environment requiring both fast-paced critical assignments and normal daily operations.
