Job summary
SimVentions, Inc. seeks a mid-level to senior software-focused Systems Engineer for software systems engineering across acquisition, development, and sustainment of aviation programs. On-site work at the NAVAIR base in Pax River, MD is required.
Active Secret clearance is mandatory, with potential upgrade to Top Secret after start. The role involves collaboration with cybersecurity experts, vendors, and government reviews, plus participation in Agile and SAFe processes within a competitive
Qualifications
- Ten years of software and systems engineering experience.
- Experience with military aircraft avionic systems and/or software.
- ABET-accredited BS in a technical discipline.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software requirements.
- Review vendor software specifications and assess compatibility.
- Coordinate with vendors on software and system integration.
- Analyze software defects and support cybersecurity SMEs.
- Participate in System Engineering Technical Reviews (SRRs/SSRs/PDRs/CDRs/TRRs).
- Support ECP process and prepare SOWs/CDRLs.
- Develop IGCEs and assist with contractor evaluations.
