Job summary

FlightSafety International is seeking a Scheduling Specialist to oversee internal and external training schedules, ensuring regulatory and operator training requirements are met while delivering the best possible customer service experience.

Responsibilities include coordinating training schedules, collecting pre-training documents, confirming attendance, maintaining client records, and acting as the primary contact for assigned programs with regulatory agencies in a fast-paced aviation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Aviation Management preferred or three (3) years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Familiarity with aviation industry terminology and FAA/NAA regulations is preferred.
• Strong scheduling concepts and experience with scheduling software.
• Detail oriented with excellent organization and time management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interact with various levels of management professionally.

Responsibilities

• Manages scheduling tasks for customers/clients and sends confirmations.
• Coordinates all aspects of client training schedules and requirements.
• Verifies training objectives with regulatory requirements.
• Back-up focal for TSA tracking for incoming clients.
• Performs export compliance checks as needed.
• Collects and verifies pre-training documents.
• Contacts customers to confirm attendance and objectives.
• Manages client retention program.
• Acts as primary point of contact for assigned programs with internal/external customers and regulators.
• Promotes additional training to enhance customer experience and revenue.
• Assists with country-specific guidance and regulatory documentation.
• Assesses, organizes, plans and assigns resources for events.
