Job summary

CAE is seeking a Regulatory Administrator for Part 135 operations in the United States. You will conduct compliance audits, review OpSpecs and SOPs, and manage documentation for 80+ certificate holders.

You will support onboarding of new Part 135 operators and generate training and compliance reports to support FAA requirements. The role requires knowledge of FAA regulations, strong attention to detail, and experience with databases and recordkeeping tools.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of aviation operations and FAA regulatory requirements.
• Ability to review, audit, and manage regulatory documentation with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Experience using computerized recordkeeping systems, databases, and reporting tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain organized records.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external operators.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Part 135 compliance audits, reviewing OpSpecs, trainings, SOPs, maneuvers, and instructor records.
• Maintain and upload manuals and required documentation for 80+ certificate holders.
• Support onboarding of new Part 135 operators, reviewing manuals and documentation.
• Generate reservation and training reports; monitor Part 135 training dashboards.
• Audit incoming documentation for accuracy, completeness, and FAA compliance.
• Investigate and resolve document discrepancies and conflict reports.
• Develop and maintain systems tracking instructor, check airman, and TCE qualifications and training records.
• Assist with 24-month audits of Part 135 operators.
• Notify operators of instructor changes and support training managers with replacements.
• Identify issues requiring follow-up or corrective action.
• Cross-train on regulatory functions to support team operations.
• Maintain tracking systems to keep manuals current.
• Review and audit documents prepared by team members for accuracy.
• Utilize recordkeeping systems to prepare compliance reports.
• Participate in meetings on compliance matters and regulatory changes.
• Meet with training managers to verify updated check airman information.
• Support special projects and departmental initiatives.
• Participate in SMS training and safety culture activities.
• Assist with inbound/outbound communications with operators and internal staff.
• Serve as a point of contact for compliance questions.
• Create and document processes and procedures in shared repositories.
