Job summary

Dawson in Columbus, OH is seeking a skilled Talent Acquisition professional to drive full-cycle recruitment and build strong partnerships with hiring leaders and HR teams. This role focuses on strategy, candidate pipelines, and delivering a superior candidate experience.

You will engage in high-profile recruiting within a fast-paced aviation environment, shaping recruitment strategies and collaborating across the organization. A Bachelor’s degree and 2–4 years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Communications, or a related field preferred.
• 2–4 years of professional recruiting experience, ideally within a corporate environment.
• Experience recruiting professional-level talent and managing consultative relationships with hiring managers and business leaders.
• Strong sourcing experience with the ability to build pipelines of both active and passive candidates.
• Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems, HRIS platforms, recruiting metrics, and reporting tools.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple openings and responsibilities.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to adapt communication styles.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruiting activities including resume review, applicant screening, phone interviews, and referral recommendations.
• Build and maintain strong consultative relationships with hiring managers, HR partners, candidates, and external recruiting partners.
• Develop recruiting strategies and talent pipelines to support current and future pilot hiring needs.
• Source active and passive candidates through networking, social media, internet research, events, and other creative recruiting channels.
• Maintain accurate recruiting activity and candidate records within Applicant Tracking Systems and HRIS platforms.
• Analyze recruiting trends, market conditions, and hiring data while recommending solutions that improve recruiting effectiveness.
• Represent the organization at job fairs, networking events, trade shows, and community recruiting initiatives.
