Job summary

LJC Design & Engineering is seeking a Project Manager for its Aviation practice. You will lead complex aviation projects, coordinate with leadership, clients, and consultants, and drive successful outcomes across terminal work, lounges, baggage systems, and maintenance facilities nationwide.

The role requires strong governance, disciplined project controls, and a collaborative approach to expand the practice’s market presence and client networks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field.
• 12+ years of experience in architecture and design with a focus on aviation projects.
• Registered Architect with a current license.
• Proven experience managing multiple and complex projects.
• Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD/Revit, MS Office.
• Exemplary written and spoken communication.
• Comfort and poise presenting to external and internal audiences.
• Proficient with client communications and relationship development.

Responsibilities

• Manages the most complex projects within the market.
• Manages team, client, and consultant interface and communication on projects.
• Develops project schedules and manages performance to established milestones.
• Responsible for billings, collections, and profitability of projects and reports performance to executives.
• May manage multiple projects simultaneously and oversee project managers.
• Organizes and supports business development pursuits.
• Recruits and interviews potential applicants to grow the practice.
• Represents LJC in the community and conferences.
