Job summary

FSB Architects + Engineers in Denver, CO seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex aviation design projects from planning through construction and to actively manage client relationships and business development. The role includes mentoring junior PMs, coordinating cross-disciplinary teams, and ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality targets are met.

The position is full-time on-site in Denver with travel to project sites and client meetings as needed, requiring a strong

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience leading complex architectural and engineering projects and multidisciplinary teams, including at least five years of project management experience.
• Experience managing aviation design projects (airport, airline, terminal, hangar, maintenance, or related facilities) is preferred.
• Strong budgeting, contracts, scheduling, resource planning, and quality management understanding.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Business development and client account management experience within the aviation market preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of the firm’s largest and most complex aviation projects from planning through construction.
• Develop and implement Project Strategic Plans aligned with client objectives and aviation market goals.
• Serve as primary client contact, building trusted relationships with aviation clients and stakeholders.
• Prepare and negotiate scopes of work, fee proposals, contracts, and consultant agreements.
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams by coordinating internal staff and consultants across aviation facilities.
• Monitor budgets, schedules, profitability, invoicing, quality, and risk; implement recovery plans as needed.
• Communicate project status and strategic direction with Market Principals and leadership.
• Provide mentorship to less experienced Project Managers and promote collaboration and accountability.
• Support business development, including proposals, scope/fee development, and client presentations.
