Job summary

Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to oversee aviation and heavy civil transportation projects in the United States. You will manage scope, schedule, budget, and client relations, guiding multidisciplinary teams through design and construction phases.

The role requires ABET engineering credentials, a PE license, and 10+ years in a relevant discipline. You will coordinate subconsultants and contribute to business development, with exposure to FAA/DoD standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an ABET accredited engineering program (required).
• Professional Engineer license required or clearly in process for the position.
• 10+ years of experience in a specialized discipline (Aviation preferred; Heavy civil transportation required).

Responsibilities

• Deliver project objectives including scope, schedule and budget.
• Monitor schedules, budgets, accounts receivable and manpower; prepare invoices.
• Develop project management plans and budgets.
• Create and maintain project schedules.
• Develop and maintain project-specific quality plans.
• Coordinate and manage subconsultants and staff.
• Lead client presentations and marketing proposals.
• Provide leadership and performance management for team members.
