Job summary

Parsons is seeking a seasoned Project Controls Specialist to support an aviation capital improvement program. You will monitor budgets, prepare reports, and coordinate invoicing and change management while acting as Procore Administrator.

Ideally you bring 10+ years of project controls experience on large infrastructure projects, strong Excel skills, and capability to manage vendor and document control tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in Project Controls, Cost Controls, Contract Administration, Construction Administration, or related roles.
• Demonstrated experience supporting aviation, airport, transportation, or large-scale infrastructure capital projects.
• Advanced proficiency with Procore including commitments, direct costs, invoicing, change management, reporting, workflow admin, and document control.

Responsibilities

• Monitor project budgets, allowances, commitments, change orders, and remaining balances.
• Identify cost variances and coordinate resolution with the Project Controls Manager.
• Prepare financial reports, cost tracking logs, and SBE utilization reports.
• Review subcontractor and consultant payment applications and coordinate monthly invoicing activities.
• Maintain purchase order, contract, and change order logs.
• Support Change Review Committee meetings and process approved change requests.
• Serve as the project Procore Administrator, managing workflows, commitments, change orders, invoicing, direct costs, reporting, and user permissions.
• Generate project controls reports, dashboards, and financial status reports.
• Coordinate document control, closeout documentation, and project records management.
• Perform project office coordination duties including ordering office supplies, coordinating vendor and delivery activities, organizing working lunches, and supporting team engagement events and project functions.
