Job summary

StandardAero in Dallas, TX, seeks a Manager, Operations (CFM56 Sub Shops) to lead repair, overhaul and re-manufacturing activities within a defined production group. You will provide leadership on day-to-day production objectives, scheduling, budgets and resources, ensuring output and quality standards are met.

The role requires several years of turbine engine maintenance, supervisory experience, and familiarity with Part 145 repair stations.

Qualifications

• Strong planning, organizational, analytical, leadership, interpersonal, decision making, oral and written communication skills.
• Strong project management skills.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow company instructions, processes, policies and export compliance regulations.

Responsibilities

• Directs the production planning and scheduling process according to sales volume and inventories.
• Plans day-to-day operations, assigns manpower, authorizes overtime and controls costs.
• Monitors production yields and maintains delivery schedules.
• Coordinates with production, supply, sales, engineering and customer service to meet standards and goals.
• Establishes and implements policies to achieve strategic goals.
• Performs capacity planning for equipment, floor space and manpower.
• Mentors team and drives continuous improvement within the area.
• Produces and maintains performance measures to display strengths and weaknesses.
• Monitors capital expenditures relative to budgeted amounts.
• Manages administrative tasks including hiring, pay, safety and employee relations.
• Participates in business unit management teams and strategic planning.
• May perform production tasks as required.
