Job summary

StandardAero in Dallas, TX seeks a Director of Supply Chain Material Planning & Programs to lead material planning for the CFM56 program. You will drive demand and supply planning, MRP, and inventory optimization, partnering with Operations, Engineering, Procurement, and Finance to ensure material availability for engine and MRO activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Supply Chain, Business, Engineering).
• 10+ years in Material Planning or Operations Planning.
• 5+ years leading planners and planning processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead material planning for the CFM56 Program with a team of planners.
• Establish best practices for demand/supply planning and master scheduling.
• Own end-to-end material planning translating demand into material requirements.
• Drive alignment between demand, capacity, inventory, and finance.
• Develop robust forecasts and planning parameters (lead times, safety stock).
• Identify and resolve shortages, late POs, obsolescence, and production risk.
• Implement discipline in MRP settings and governance across programs.
• Collaborate with Procurement and suppliers to meet commitments.
• Improve inventory turnover and working capital while maintaining availability.
