Job summary

StandardAero in Dallas, TX seeks an Aircraft Engine Quality Inspector (CFM56) to perform in-process and final inspections of engines, components and parts to verify compliance with approved data and customer requirements. You will certify products on behalf of the company and support return to service.

You'll cross-train in related skills, participate in continuous improvement, and provide on-the-job training for inspection trainees while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Detail inspection function understanding required.
• Knowledge of product configuration and assembly processes.
• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments.
• Proficient in dimensional inspection techniques.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements for aeronautical products.
• Ability to read/write in English.
• High school diploma or GED; US work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Verifies in-process assembly per inspection plan.
• Performs final inspection of the product and documentation.
• Generates reports for product documentation files.
• Verifies modification status to meet current requirements.
• Cross trains to support production requirements.
• Provides on-the-job training for inspection trainees.
• Ensures compliance with safety requirements.
