Job summary

Apollo MedFlight is seeking an Operations Control Specialist to manage day-to-day flight operations in a high-stakes environment. The role involves preflight risk analysis, weather briefings, and disseminating critical aviation alerts, including NOTAMs and TFRs.

The OCS works under the Director of Operations to ensure compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures, utilizing advanced tech to monitor flight activity and respond to inflight anomalies.

Qualifications

• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Available for day, mid, and night shifts, plus weekends/holidays.
• Able to work independently in high pace, high-stress environments.
• Professional communication at all organizational levels.
• Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent computer and typing skills with multi-tasking.

Responsibilities

• Provide weather briefings for planned flight routes.
• Disseminate NOTAMs and TFRs to pilots and teams.
• Maintain two-way communications with pilots.
• Monitor progress of all flight operations.
• Maintain enhanced situational awareness.
• Handle multiple tasks in parallel.
• Participate in preflight risk analysis per 14 CFR §135.617.
• Comply with Operations Manual and FAA regulations.
