Job summary

Amentum is a global leader in advanced engineering and innovative technology solutions. The Operations Manager will identify and maintain operations and procedures in line with company policies and guidelines, ensuring safety, collaboration, and well-being across programs.

The role requires planning, organizing and directing contract execution, managing FAA certifications, and hiring pilot and maintenance personnel to meet staffing demands.

Qualifications

• Current FAA Airframe & Powerplant license preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in an associated discipline or equivalent years of experience.
• Eight (8) or more years’ experience as a pilot or with maintenance associated with tactical, low-altitude aircraft operations.

Responsibilities

• Implement necessary processes and procedures to meet program goals as established by contractual agreement.
• Ensure performance and quality to established standards.
• Plan, organize and manage the program for successful completion and performance consistent with contractual agreements.
• Manage the FAA approved Repair Station Certificate.
• Hire pilot and maintenance personnel as deemed necessary to meet staffing levels.
• Monitor the contract to verify contractual objectives are met and provide corrective action when necessary.
