Job summary

Amentum in the United States seeks a senior Project Engineer/Area Project Manager to plan and oversee complex projects with strong technical and business judgment, ensuring safety, quality, value, timeliness, and profitability.

You will lead cross-functional teams, manage staffing, schedules, budgets, and risks across design, procurement, and construction, and report to the Project Director/Manager while maintaining client and internal communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 10–15 years in EPFC/CM industry with field assignments.
• Experience in risk assessment initiatives.
• Experience across projects with procedures and interfaces.
• PM experience in international locations preferred.
• PMP certification is suggested.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform project engineering functions including progress monitoring and documentation.
• Coordinate staffing with functional managers and subcontractors.
• Support creation and coordination of project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Coordinate design, procurement, material management and construction activities.
• Develop client/internal communications and progress reports.
• Other duties as assigned.
