Job summary

Amentum seeks an Aircraft Maintenance Production Supervisor to oversee production activities, aircraft maintenance, and flying schedules within the branch. The role ensures safe, on-time maintenance in accordance with the contract and government directives, coordinating with Plans and Scheduling.

Responsibilities include disaster preparedness, training coordination, and maintaining data integrity, with a typical 40-hour week and occasional weekend work. A DoD background is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in a related field or eight years of directly related DoD experience.
• Current U.S. state driver’s license (REAL ID preferred).
• Ability to understand Government publications and technical orders.
• Experience with risk management techniques.
• Experience in conflict resolution, team building, and coaching skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate aircraft maintenance, flying schedules, and branch activities.
• Ensure safe, on-time maintenance in compliance with contract and government directives.
• Coordinate with Plans and Scheduling on non-mission capable aircraft for next-day selection.
• Maintain disaster response procedures and disaster maps with duty checklists.
• Develop and execute monthly and weekly flying and maintenance schedules.
• Ensure all aircraft are safe, properly configured, and reliable for training missions.
• Enforce data integrity and report to Branch Manager; coordinate training for technicians.
• Work a 40-hour week, Monday–Friday, with some weekends.
