Buro Happold Limited in Washington, DC is seeking an Associate Mechanical Engineer to lead mechanical design on aviation projects and manage a team of engineers. You will collaborate with clients, architects, and other engineers to deliver coordinated HVAC systems and high-quality solutions on diverse projects.

The role requires extensive experience (8+ years) in mechanical engineering and aviation, P.E., and a track record of leading large projects.

Formación

• 8+ years of experience in Mechanical Engineering and HVAC.
• 5+ years of experience on airport/aviation projects.
• BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering or relevant degree.
• P.E. (Professional Engineer) is required or preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the mechanical discipline on medium to large aviation projects.
• Design and specify mechanical and HVAC systems, ensuring quality output.
• Manage project resources and client relationships to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for integrated, technically sound solutions.
• Mentor graduates and junior engineers in professional development.
• Maintain strong client communication and identify innovative solutions.
