Job summary

21 Air LLC. in Greensboro, NC seeks a Manager of Maintenance Planning to oversee forecasting and scheduling for the fleet, ensuring airworthiness and FAA compliance. You'll manage ADs, SBs, and aircraft records while interfacing with multiple departments and the FAA.

The role requires strong FAA knowledge, CMTS experience, and leadership to guide maintenance programs and regulatory alignment across the organization.

Qualifications

• FAA A&P license preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in aircraft maintenance planning.
• Strong knowledge of FAA regulations (14 CFR, ADs, MPD, MRB).
• Experience with CMTS (CAMP, TRAX, Corridor) required.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization and communication.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and schedule Airworthiness Directives (ADs) per required timeframes.
• Interface with Maintenance Control on new ADs and scheduling.
• Verify accuracy of aircraft/component maintenance records and work packages.
• Maintain Major Repairs and Alterations list for FAA review.
• Update airframe, engine, component, and ICA records for AD compliance.
• Enter data into the CMTS for forecasting maintenance/workload.
• Plan and issue work packages for routine and non-routine maintenance.
• Coordinate CAMP and TLM changes with Maintenance Director and FAA.
• Review MPD, MRB, 14 CFR changes affecting programs.
• Provide input for reliable ETAs and forecast reports.
• Plan weekly maintenance meetings to schedule tasks.
• Review STCs and Service Bulletins for applicability.
