Job summary

Amentum is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to serve as the on-site liaison with the Government, directing day-to-day maintenance activities and ensuring safety, schedule adherence, and contract compliance for aviation systems. You will assign daily work, coordinate tasks, develop plans, maintain documentation, report performance, and communicate proactively with the customer.

• Minimum of fifteen (15) years of diverse management experience including experience in aviation systems.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of academic/technical/military training and experience preferred.
• Experience in flight test, evaluation and integration activities.
• Excellent communication, analytical, project management and supervisory skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify as primary on-site liaison for maintenance management with Government.
• Ensure safe, compliant aircraft maintenance and flight scheduling per contract and SOW.
• Assign daily work and oversee maintenance workforce.
• Coordinate tasks, requirements and issues across maintenance support for the customer.
