This position will directly support the Director of AviationMaintenance. Duties include supervised management of the Universityof Dubuque aircraft fleet for the maintenance director, maintainingthe aircraft overhaul slope on a daily basis, coordinatingmaintenance activities internally and externally through phone andemail communications, monitoring aviation parts lists and stockagefor use in daily maintenance activities, monitoring MSDS sheets toinclude storage of chemicals in the hangars, and keeping thedirector of maintenance informed of all aircraft maintenance issuesand recommending maintenance activities. Works with dispatch inkeeping an accurate, up-to-date list of flyable and non-flyableaircraft and where they are parked on the ramp, advise on whenaircraft become available for use, and place aircraft back intoservice upon completion of maintenance. Will assist the maintenancedirector with other duties as required in support of aviationmaintenance activities.
