Job summary

gategroup is seeking a skilled operations supervisor for Los Angeles hub to oversee daily production and ensure on-time delivery across kitchen and drivers. The role emphasizes scheduling, labor controls, safety, and quality to meet customer requirements.

You will lead a team of 20–30 staff, coordinate with multiple departments, monitor performance, and uphold Wage & Hour policies while supporting continuous improvement in a fast-paced aviation catering environment.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED required; some college preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory/management experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Experience with scheduling and forecasting labor preferred.
• In-flight catering or high-volume food service experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate services between kitchen and drivers and manage dock operations.
• Create assignments for team drivers and flights.
• Forecast labor and ensure schedule adherence and equipment readiness.
• Ensure safety procedures and wage-hour compliance.
• Train and monitor staff to maximize productivity and reduce costs.
