Job summary

DO & CO AG in Los Angeles seeks a hands-on Transportation Manager to lead and execute all transportation and dispatch operations across the LA airline catering unit. You will own end-to-end logistics, drive on-time performance, and coordinate with kitchen, ramp, and airline partners to ensure flawless flight coverage.

The role requires a strong leader capable of prioritizing safety, efficiency, and service quality, with experience in CDL compliance and airport operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, transportation, aviation management or related field.
• 5+ years of leadership in transportation, logistics, airline catering, or aviation operations.
• Experience leading dispatch operations and frontline teams.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving in high-pressure environments.
• Knowledge of CDL compliance and safety programs.
• Experience in airport or union environments preferred.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end transportation and dispatch operations for a high-volume flight schedule.
• Drive on-time performance (OTP) and meet airline service level agreements.
• Oversee dispatch planning, routing, and load coordination for flight coverage.
• Lead and develop teams of dispatchers, drivers, supervisors, and ramp staff.
• Ensure safe loading/unloading of catering trucks and aircraft.
• Monitor OTP, dispatch accuracy, and service reliability; drive improvements.
• Coordinate with airline partners to align service expectations.
