Job summary

gategroup is seeking a highly organized supervisor to oversee drivers and driver assistants, coordinating between kitchen and flight operations in a USA-based role. You will manage dock activities, ensure safety standards, and drive on-time performance across shifts.

The position requires supervising 30+ hourly employees, strong leadership, training ability, and familiarity with wage/hour rules. ServSafe certification is required or in progress.

Qualifications

• 2+ years supervisory experience in a high-volume environment.
• Must have strong leadership skills and manage 30+ hourly employees.
• ServSafe Certification required; ServSafe Certification preferred.
• Bi-lingual in English and Spanish/Chinese Mandarin/Vietnamese/Hindi/Polish a plus.
• Excellent time management, organization and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise drivers and driver assistants and coordinate dock operations.
• Ensure quality production standards are maintained for all accounts.
• Assign team duties, monitor safety, and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Maintain radio contact with Operations Manager and leads during operations.
• Train staff, monitor performance, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Balance workflow, plan manpower, and manage staffing changes across shifts.
• Ensure wage/hour policy compliance and proper breaks; liaise with HR.
