Job summary

gategroup is seeking a proactive supervisor to oversee drivers and driver assistants in a high-volume airline catering operation. You will coordinate services between kitchen and drivers, ensuring on-time departures and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include staff assignments, performance coaching, and collaboration with management to improve unit performance. Valid ServSafe certification and strong leadership are required; bilingual capability is a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership skills; ability to manage 30+ hourly employees.
• Proven communication, time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to train others and implement program changes.

Responsibilities

• Supervise drivers and driver assistants.
• Ensure quality production standards and assign team drivers to flights daily.
• Monitor dock operations and ensure equipment and departures meet schedules.
• Ensure safety compliance and regulatory requirements; manage wage/hour policies.
• Coordinate with airlines on service requirements and updates.
