Job summary

Flying Food Group seeks an Operations Manager to coordinate transportation, dispatch, sanitation, and warehouse activities, ensuring quality service and budget targets. You will enforce HACCP plans, safety training, and regulatory compliance, while leading a team across multiple departments in a high-demand facility.

The role requires 4–5 years of operations leadership, Lean/Six Sigma experience, and strong financial acumen.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent
• Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma in a manufacturing environment
• Food manufacturing experience a plus
• 4–5 years broad-based operations management
• Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus
• Strong financial and leadership skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel

Responsibilities

• Oversee Transportation, Dispatch, Sanitation, and Warehouse operations
• Manage operations budget to achieve financial goals
• Ensure training and HACCP compliance across the facility
• Maintain safety awareness and TSA, CBP compliance
• Coordinate equipment setup and loading for customer aircraft
• Interface with customers to ensure satisfaction and issue follow-ups
• Maintain equipment and vehicle condition and availability
• Control departmental costs to meet monthly budget
