Responsibilities

• Perform organizational, intermediate and limited depot level maintenance on aircraft, components and equipment.
• Install and remove cartridge actuated devices and propulsion actuated devices.
• Pack and maintain parachutes and survival gear.
• Repair and maintain pilots’ personal equipment.
• Issues and receives aircrew survival equipment; initiate and update checkout/return records.
• Assemble and service oxygen mask assemblies, survival vests, helmets and related safety/survival equipment.
• Perform aircraft conditional and special inspections of installed safety/survival equipment; identify and treat corrosion.
• Brief and debrief aircrew on use and condition of survival equipment.
• Maintain foreign object damage (FOD), hazardous waste, and tool control programs.
