Job summary

Woolpert, Inc. in the Western United States seeks a Construction Manager to lead field teams on aviation and infrastructure projects.

You will oversee inspection, coordinate with design engineers and project managers, ensure contract compliance, and drive safety and quality on site. The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering or Construction Management, 2+ years PM/CM experience, proficiency in MS Office, familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D, and travel up to 100% seasonally across the Western

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 2+ years of construction management or project management experience.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering and land development construction practices.
• Experience with construction inspection, observation reporting, and quantity tracking.
• OSHA 10-Hour Construction Certification (or ability to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Manage construction inspection activities ensuring contract compliance.
• Lead and supervise inspection staff with mentorship and performance oversight.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients to align goals.
• Monitor contractor performance and review submittals.
• Oversee quality of materials and workmanship per specs.
• Provide on-site leadership and issue field direction.
• Track project progress and prepare daily/weekly reports.
• Develop meeting agendas and document minutes.
• Support project budgeting and scheduling.
• Review Davis-Bacon payrolls for compliance.
• Ensure as-built drawings are accurate.
• Promote and enforce safety on site.
