Job summary

Woolpert, Inc. in the Western United States seeks a Construction Manager to lead inspection teams on aviation and infrastructure projects.

You will coordinate with design engineers, project managers, and clients to ensure contract compliance and project success. The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering or Construction Management and 2+ years of PM/CM experience, with strong communication skills and safety oversight.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in construction management or project management environments.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering and land development construction practices.
• Experience with inspection, observation reporting, and quantity tracking.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; AutoCAD Civil 3D a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with clients and teams.
• OSHA 10-Hour Construction Certification (or ability to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Manage construction inspection activities to ensure contract compliance.
• Lead and mentor inspection staff, providing direction and performance oversight.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients on goals and expectations.
• Monitor contractor performance and review submittals.
• Oversee quality of materials and workmanship per specs.
• Provide on-site leadership and field direction for resolutions.
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and maintain records.
• Develop meeting agendas and document minutes.
• Support project budgeting and scheduling.
• Review Davis-Bacon wage compliance on certified payrolls.
• Ensure accuracy of as-built drawings and safety practices on site.
