Job summary

Woolpert, Inc. seeks an experienced Construction Manager to join the Aviation market in the Midwest. Located in Indianapolis, IN, you will lead construction inspection, coordinate with designers and clients, and ensure quality, safety, and on-time project delivery.

You will manage field teams, review specifications, and maintain documentation, with travel up to 60% to support Midwest airport projects. A Bachelor's in Engineering or Construction Management and 5+ years' experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 5+ years of construction management or project management experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D is a plus.
• OSHA 10-Hour Construction Certification (or ability to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Lead construction inspection and QA testing for aviation projects.
• Coordinate change orders, RFIs, budgets, and schedules.
• Manage contract administration and ensure alignment with project goals.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients.
• Provide on-site leadership and address construction issues.
• Ensure safety standards and quality of materials/workmanship.
• Develop meeting agendas and document minutes.
• Maintain accurate as-built drawings.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field

OSHA 10-Hour Construction Certification

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office
