Job summary

SpaceX in Redmond, WA is seeking a Hardware Reliability Engineer for the Starlink program. You will perform hands-on failure analysis, drive root-cause action, and implement design and process improvements to increase product reliability, quality, and factory throughput across sub-assemblies.

This role requires a solid engineering background, hands-on hardware experience, and ability to work closely with design, manufacturing, and test teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline is required.
• 2+ years in a design or manufacturing engineering role (student projects/internships qualify).
• Master’s degree in electrical, mechanical, aerospace, or materials engineering is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on failure analysis to identify root cause and implement corrective action.
• Develop and validate production processes for existing and next-gen hardware to maintain quality and throughput.
• Create data analysis programs to monitor yield and failure rates and implement SPC.
