Job summary

SpaceX's Starlink Aviation team is seeking a Hardware Reliability Specialist to ensure onboard systems operate reliably in harsh aircraft environments. You will lead root-cause investigations of aviation PCBA failures, perform electrical debugging, and partner with design, test and manufacturing to boost durability.

Requirements include a high school diploma, 1+ years in engineering or manufacturing, experience with oscilloscopes, and knowledge of schematics, RF and semiconductors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years in engineering, reliability, manufacturing, or quality.
• Experience with electrical debugging tools such as oscilloscopes.
• Understanding of circuit schematics, analog and digital signals, RF, wireless, and semiconductors.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical debugging and fault isolation on complex electronic systems using lab tools.
• Conduct root cause investigations and characterize failure modes.
• Develop and execute test plans to validate hypotheses.
• Collaborate with engineering to implement design and process changes.
• Analyze production and field data to identify trends for improvements.
