Job summary

The Recruitment Company seeks an Area Sales Manager – Commercial for a global aviation and Ground Support Equipment company. You will manage a portfolio of commercial accounts across North America, reporting to the VP of Commercial Sales & Service.

Role involves significant travel, with opportunities to expand relationships, sell additional solutions, and collaborate across sales, service and technical teams using ERP/CRM tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; a technical or business-related degree would be advantageous.
• Minimum of 5 years' relevant professional experience, with a demonstrable track record of sales success.
• Experience selling technical equipment or aviation solutions is advantageous.
• Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to establish credibility with key customers.
• Willingness to travel up to 70%, including international travel.

Responsibilities

• Manage key commercial customer accounts and develop long-term relationships across the assigned territory.
• Maintain relationships throughout the equipment lifecycle, from commissioning to service support.
• Identify opportunities to expand customer relationships and introduce additional products.
• Develop technical and commercial understanding of products to support customers.
• Collaborate with sales, service and technical teams on proposals and opportunities.
• Utilise ERP/CRM and sales tools to generate quotations and maintain records.
• Travel domestically and internationally as required to meet customers and attend meetings.
