Job summary

Citadel Aviation, LLC is seeking a Ground Support Mechanic II to assist the Facilities and GSE Maintenance Liaison with inspection, maintenance, and upkeep of facilities and equipment. The role involves servicing a wide range of GSE including tugs, forklifts, scissor lifts, aircraft jacks, HVAC units, and power converters.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, at least 2 years of relevant mechanical experience, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 2 years of documented work experience in automotive, heavy mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical work.
• Holds a current, valid driver's license where required.

Responsibilities

• Service and operate all assigned GSE equipment (tugs, forklifts, lifts, jacks, HVAC units, power converters, GSE power units).
• Perform equipment troubleshooting and repair of all assigned GSE.
• Perform periodic and annual inspections per manufacturer recommendations.
• Inspect tooling and slings per industry standards.
• Perform basic carpentry, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, sheet metal fabrication on facilities.
• Inspect life safety equipment for compliance.
• Maintain environmental collection and storage areas.
• Perform light janitorial duties.
• Other duties as assigned by the Facilities and GSE Maintenance Liaison.
