Job summary

PrimeFlight Aviation Services, Inc. is seeking a GSE Mechanic Level II to repair and maintain ground support equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, pushbacks, and trucks. You will perform advanced maintenance, test systems, and document work performed.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of verified experience, own tools, and the ability to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends. Excellent safety and customer service standards are expected in this role.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age
• Eligible to work in the United States
• 3 years of verified experience required
• Must provide own tools and toolbox
• Regular, predictable attendance
• Valid state driver’s license with clean record
• English reading/writing/speaking
• Access to electronic devices (IPads/Tablets, Computers, Mobiles)
• Clear communication with colleagues and clients
• Pass a background check and drug screen
• FAA/TSA/Port Authority/U.S. Customs clearances as applicable
• Ability to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, holidays

Responsibilities

• Service equipment with fuel, water, oil, hydraulic fluid and compressed air
• Log equipment numbers with description of work
• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, replace or modify engines, transmissions, electrical and hydraulic systems
• Repair bumps, body work, tires, and undercarriages
• Diagnose problems with test equipment and manuals
• Operate and test ground equipment for performance
• Complete paperwork and track parts
• Follow safety procedures and PrimeFlight standards
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management
