Job summary

LGSTX Services, Inc. is seeking a skilled GSE Mechanic II to maintain and repair ground support equipment for airport operations. You will diagnose mechanical issues and perform preventive maintenance.

This role requires independence, attention to safety, and the ability to read schematics. You will work hands-on with engines, hydraulics, and powertrains, with opportunities for overtime and travel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 3 years of industrial and/or commercial maintenance experience.
• Ability to read blueprints, electrical schematics, and hydraulic diagrams.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate vehicles and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, repair, and overhaul a wide variety of ground support equipment (GSE).
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and powertrain systems to diagnose issues.
• Remove malfunctioning equipment from service and ensure it is fully repaired and safe before return to operation.
• Use manuals, schematics, wiring diagrams, and drawings to solve repair challenges.
• Perform preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
• Safely utilize tools, equipment, and materials to complete tasks.
• Support facility or property equipment as needed.
• Mentor less‑experienced mechanics on diagnostics and repair techniques.
• Work in indoor and outdoor environments with flexible shifts, overtime, and some travel.
• Model and uphold strong safety practices to protect coworkers and operations.
