Job summary

Piedmont Airlines, Inc. is seeking a motivated General Manager to lead the Ground Handling Department. The role oversees station operations, staffing, and adherence to company policies, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and customer service excellence.

The ideal candidate will have prior team leadership experience, strong scheduling and coaching skills, and a solid understanding of airport operations and internal controls. Some travel and weekend coverage may be required.

Qualifications

• Two years of supervisory experience in operations or customer care.
• Familiarity with Airport Operations Area environment.
• Extensive knowledge of QIK, Sabre & Internal Controls Manual (ICM).
• Bachelor's Degree in Aviation, Business, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee station labor relations, operations efficiencies, maintenance, facilities, and safety and security.
• Coach and provide career development to the staff.
• Staff scheduling to include work assignments/rotations, breaks, overtime, and back-ups.
• Administrative duties including daily/weekly/monthly reports.
• Conduct employee performance reviews.
