Job summary

World Fuel is seeking a Dispatcher to support our Business Aviation team. Based on the East Coast (preferably around Tampa, FL), you will be the go-to person ensuring smooth fuel deliveries for our General Aviation customers.

You will handle fuel requests, enter orders, coordinate with carriers, and work with Supply and Accounting to keep operations on track. The role may include weekend on-call shifts and growth opportunities within a global aviation fuel leader.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–6 months of experience in dispatching, customer service or related roles preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, time management and organizational skills.
• Clear professional communication via phone and email.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with weekend on-call shifts.

Responsibilities

• Receive fuel requests via email or phone and confirm details with clients.
• Enter orders into GA order entry system (OTS) and lock in pricing.
• Arrange fuel deliveries with carriers and confirm completion.
• Resolve logistical issues and propose alternatives as needed.
• Collaborate with Supply, Accounting, and other departments to keep operations running smoothly.
