Job summary

StandardAero is seeking a FTZ Operations / Logistics Manager to oversee customs information and logistics activities related to the Foreign Trade Zone. You’ll manage international movements, ensure regulatory compliance, and optimize processes across multiple sites.

The role requires 5–7+ years in FTZ/Customs with APICS familiarity, strong cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to lead cost-saving logistics initiatives in a U.S. environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Materials, Logistics, Transportation, Business Administration or equivalent.
• 5 to 7+ years’ FTZ/Customs experience with basic familiarity with APICS principles.
• Demonstrated ability to interact with all levels within the organization, vendors, and customers.
• Strong planning, organizational, analytical, leadership, interpersonal, decision making, negotiation, oral and written communication skills.
• Thorough knowledge of Canada customs and U.S. customs requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate FTZ customs information and manage international/overseas movements.
• Maintain proper recordkeeping required for FTZ management.
• Enforce standard operating procedures to comply with federal regulations.
• Build relationships with internal/external customers, stakeholders, and Customs personnel to resolve freight issues.
• Facilitate and expedite the flow of goods into and out of the zone.
• Negotiate terms, rates and classifications with carriers; audit and approve freight bills.
• Develop and implement international logistics strategy and cost-reduction plans.
• Ensure compliance with traffic laws, import/export documentation, and ITAR/EAR regulations.
• Hire, train, and develop direct reports; participate in strategic planning and budgets.
