Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking an experienced US-FTZ Import Manager to lead import compliance, oversee FTZ operations, and coordinate with CBP and internal stakeholders. You will develop policies, drive training, and mitigate regulatory risks across cross-functional teams.

The role reports to the Sr. Manager, International Trade Compliance and focuses on ensuring adherence to US Customs and FTZ regulations, with a strong emphasis on process improvement and risk management.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in trade compliance.
• Strong knowledge of import/export regulations, including customs laws, export controls, and sanctions.
• Experience in managing trade compliance programs and audits.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of import compliance professionals.
• Ensure imports are entered in compliance with US Customs Regulations.
• Conduct internal audits and assessments and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure FTZ regulations compliance for site operations.
• Develop processes to support tariff mitigation strategies.
• Manage FTZ inventory control and reconciliations.
• Respond to CBP inquiries and support on-site compliance reviews.
• Develop and implement trade compliance policies and training.
