Job summary

The Pratt & Whitney Global Trade - Foreign Trade Zone team is seeking a Foreign Trade Zone Administration Manager for our Middletown, CT campus. This hybrid role leads FTZ operations, ensuring compliance with US import/export regulations and coordinating with IT, Supply Chain, and Finance teams.

The role requires 8+ years of related experience or 5+ with an advanced degree, plus FTZ/Customs experience and U.S. citizenship. Certifications like LCB or CZS are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree with 5+–8+ years of related experience.
• 5+ years in US import compliance operations or supply chain.
• 5+ years FTZ or US Customs compliance experience.
• US citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• FTZ Administration: Oversee and ensure compliant operation for the Middletown, CT site, including customs documentation, accounting, reconciliation, and waste management.
• Compliance Oversight: Maintain full compliance with U.S. import and export regulations (ITAR, EAR, FTR) with support of the central Customs team.
• Process Improvement: Partner with IT, Supply Chain, and Finance to enhance FTZ processes and test software updates.
• Risk Management: Identify compliance risks and drive corrective actions.
• Training & Mentorship: Deliver FTZ training across departments and guide staff.
• Continuous Support: Collaborate on trade compliance initiatives, audits, and improvement projects.
