Job summary

CAE is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Civil Training and Services division at the CAE Training Center in Dallas, Texas. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on CAE and non-CAE flight simulators and related devices, supporting mission readiness and safety.

You will diagnose routine issues, perform pre/post-flight tasks, document activities in the CMMS, and assist with refurbishment projects while maintaining quality standards. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent technical training is required.
• 1 year minimum related to simulator maintenance, electronics, or related fields.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, prints, and schematics.
• Basics of analog/digital electronics and using electronic test equipment.
• Basic soldering and circuit board repair skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn and perform preventive maintenance on flight simulators and related systems.
• Assist in diagnosing and resolving routine issues affecting simulators.
• Perform pre-flight and post-flight tasks on assigned simulators.
• Conduct basic visual alignments and follow QTGs.
• Use the maintenance system to document and track maintenance activities.
• Assist with simulator refurbishment projects and hardware modifications.
• Provide customer support and respond to customer needs promptly.
• Travel up to 10% as required.
