Job summary

CAE is seeking a Simulator Technician II to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on CAE and non-CAE flight simulators at the Dallas Training Center. You will diagnose issues, perform non-aircraft tasks, and ensure systems meet quality standards.

The role requires an Associate degree or equivalent, 2–4 years of simulator/electronics experience, and ability to travel up to 10%. You will work with the Technical Services team and support customer needs while following CAE processes.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent technical training required.
• 2 years of direct simulator experience or 4 years related experience in electronics, avionics, or automated systems.
• Ability to read and use schematics and electronic diagnostic tools.
• Experience operating electronic test equipment and soldering/circuit repair.
• Basic PC skills including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on flight simulators and related systems.
• Diagnose and resolve routine and complex simulator issues.
• Utilize CMMS to document maintenance activities and track progress.
• Train technicians in foundational technical skills.
