Job summary

CAE is seeking a Simulator Technician II to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on multiple flight simulators at the Dallas Training Center. You will diagnose routine issues, document activities in the maintenance system, and support refurbishment and hardware modification efforts.

The role requires an associate degree or equivalent technical training, 2–4 years of related experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Local travel up to 10% is possible.

Qualifications

• Associate degree (2-year technical degree) or equivalent related technical training.
• 2 years of direct simulator experience; or 4 years of related electronics/avionics/automation experience.
• Experience reading schematics and using diagnostic tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on flight simulators and related systems.
• Diagnose and resolve routine issues affecting simulators.
• Assist in diagnosing and resolving complex simulator and system issues.
• Train technicians in foundational technical skills.
• Assist with refurbishment projects and hardware modifications.
