Job summary

CAE Inc. in Dallas, TX, seeks a Simulator Technician II to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on CAE and non-CAE simulators at the CAE Training Center. The role involves diagnosing issues, training technicians, and supporting refurbishment projects to ensure high readiness of flight simulators.

The technician will document activities in the maintenance system, handle logistics tasks, and work closely with the Technical Services team. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent technical training required.
• 2 years direct simulator experience or 4 years related tech experience.
• Ability to read schematics and use diagnostic tools.
• Experience with electronic test equipment and soldering.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on flight simulators.
• Diagnose and resolve routine and complex simulator issues.
• Train technicians and document activities in the maintenance system.
• Liaise with customers and support simulator refurbishment projects.
