Contour Aviation in Smyrna, TN, is hiring a full-time Aircraft Dispatcher to support flight crew operations and ensure safety and compliance with FAA regulations. Formación

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Be authorized to work in the United States and able to travel.
• Able to pass a 10-year work history review and criminal history check.
• Must understand, read, and write English.
• FAA Aircraft Dispatcher Certificate required.
• A minimum of two (2) years dispatch experience is preferred.
• Extensive familiarity with Federal Aviation Regulations, aeronautical charts, aviation weather, aircraft performance and flight planning.

Responsabilidades

• Support flight crew with operational control of flights.
• Plan flights considering winds and weather, balancing safety and economy.
• Determine the minimum fuel supply necessary for safe flight.
• Provide PIC with preflight briefing including aircraft and flight status and weather information.
• Monitor flight progress and issue safety information.
• Coordinate diversions and recoveries; negotiate routes with ATC.
• Provide operations expertise to Maintenance and System Operations Control.
• Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
