Job summary

Contour Airlines is seeking a Maintenance Controller for a Home Based role in Smyrna, TN. The position oversees maintenance operations, provides real-time technical direction, and ensures regulatory compliance for the airline's fleet.

The ideal candidate has an A&P license, formal turbine-aircraft maintenance training, 7+ years as a mechanic/inspector on large jets, and at least 5 years on specified regional jets. Remote work with national travel possible.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 23 years old.
• Airframe and Powerplant license required.
• Formal aircraft maintenance training for large turbine powered airplanes.
• Minimum of seven years as an aircraft mechanic/inspector for large jets.
• Minimum of five years on Bombardier Canadair Regional Jet 200, Embraer 135/145/Legacy 600.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time technical oversight and direction to maintenance personnel.
• Monitor aircraft status and coordinate maintenance to minimize disruptions.
• Update maintenance tracking and flight operations software in real time.
• Coordinate with other departments to expedite aircraft return to service.
• Manage deferred maintenance items and ensure compliance with FARs.
