Russell Tobin in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Field Technician Level III to support business and civil aviation customers in our repair station shop. You will provide maintenance, repair, and overhaul services on aircraft engines and may travel domestically and internationally up to 25%.

The position is onsite on 2nd shift (3pm–1:30am). The ideal candidate has FAA A&P license or an associate degree with relevant experience, and proficiency with engine manuals and service bulletins.

Qualificações

• FAA Airframe & Power Plant License required or equivalent.
• Associate degree with relevant aircraft maintenance experience also acceptable.
• Ability to comply with FAA drug and alcohol testing and background checks.
• Experience reading and interpreting AMM, EMM, IPC, and service bulletins.

Responsabilidades

• Comply with work scope instructions as directed by our Maintenance Operations Center
• Competently disassemble, clean, and assemble engines and modules at an intermediate level
• Use intermediate troubleshooting logic to identify defects in component or parts
• Access and use engine data materials such as AMM, EMM, IPC
• Understand, interpret and apply Service Bulletins, FAA Directives, and Technical Variances when applicable
• Must be able to work occasional evening shifts and required overtime as needed
