Job summary

Textron Aviation is seeking an A&P Mobile Service Technician to support Idaho Falls on the 1st shift. You will perform diagnostic and maintenance work on jet, turboprop and piston aircraft, coordinate with the MST Lead Mechanic, and communicate with customers to review work scope and ensure satisfaction.

The role requires a high school diploma, an active A&P license, and 3+ years of diversified aviation experience.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• A&P license required.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience with diversified jet, turboprop, piston, modification, and phase inspection as an A&P Mechanic.
• Preferred 1-2 years’ experience on Cessna, Hawker, or Beechcraft aircraft.

Responsibilities

• Complete work scope in a timely manner per policy and quality standards.
• Diagnose malfunctions and disassemble/reassemble to prepare aircraft for flight.
• Inspect engines, mechanical systems, and components on assigned aircraft.
• Order parts and manage core returns per procedure.
• Maintain accurate documentation per FAR requirements and safety standards.
