Job summary

Rolls-Royce in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Field Technician III to support aircraft engine maintenance, repair and overhaul in our repair station shop. The role requires domestic and international travel up to 25% and a FAA license.

You will disassemble, clean, and reassemble engines, interpret manuals (AMM/EMM/IPC) and apply service bulletins, with emphasis on safety and FAA regulations. Shift is onsite 2nd shift (3pm–1:30am).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with FAA license or FAA license with an associate degree.
• Experience in aircraft maintenance, repair and/or overhaul.
• Familiarity with AMM, EMM and IPC manuals and service bulletins.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, clean and assemble engines and modules at an intermediate level.
• Use intermediate troubleshooting to identify defects in components or parts.
• Access and use AMM, EMM and IPC manuals and interpret Service Bulletins and FAA directives.
• Work occasional evenings and overtime as required.
