West Star Aviation seeks an Avionics Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift in Perryville, MO. This on-site, full-time role involves troubleshooting and repairing avionics units and aircraft systems, with opportunities to work on Navs, Coms, Radar, Autopilot, and related components.

The job requires 0-6 years of experience across avionics fields, a high school diploma or equivalent, and strong attention to FAA guidelines, customer service, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Electronics or Avionics training preferred
• Valid driver’s license and/or passport ideal but not mandatory

Responsibilities

• Perform general avionics support on aircraft, including removal/installation of panels and components
• Troubleshoot and evaluate avionics and aircraft systems
• Inspect and evaluate aircraft and components
• Verify performance of systems during aircraft runs
• Maintain shop facilities, equipment and tooling
• Collaborate with customers on project management, pricing and support
• Work independently on projects
• Follow FAA guidelines and safety rules
